2016 – 2021
關渡光藝術節已經進入了第6個年頭，我們以場域如何展現光的藝術為主要訴求，選擇了臺北藝術大學的校園作為光藝術的展演實驗場域。從第一年在校園入口的鷺鷥草原，到用學校游泳池館以及美術館到今年的達文西餐廳，我們嘗試如何讓光藝術跟場域的結合成為新媒體的地景藝術或成為一種奇觀。
KDLAF（Kuan Du Light Art Festival）has come to the sixth year, and we take showing the art of light as our main appeal. We have chosen the campus of Taipei National University of the Arts as the experimental field for the exhibition of light art. From the Lusi Grassland in the first year to the swimming pool and the art museum, then to the DaVinci’s Kitchen this year, we try to make the combination of light art and field as a spectacle.
如何讓作品有其被觀賞的方式是一開始選擇校園戶外空間的考量，在廣大的校園內只放置少量作品，每個藝術家能為其作品找到最佳觀賞角度予以詮釋。從日常的空間印象置入夜間的光裝置、互動甚至是表演，以擾動空間的形式來思考空間介面的過去現在、存在不存在、意識非意識、靜止與流變的諸多議題討論，形塑成為該校園角落的空間記憶，以光的形式烙印在腦海中。
How to let every artwork be viewed in its own way is our main consideration when choosing outdoor space, few works are placed in the campus, so the artists can find the best places for their works. Inserting light devices, interaction device, and performances into our life space, we disturb the form of the original space to spark discussions about the past and present of space interface, existence, consciousness, stillness. This will be shaped as the memory of the space and be seared into the brain in the form of light.
